The short version: we only collect what we need to talk with you and support you, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it anytime.
Who we are
Jaxn Consulting is an IT consulting business based in Memphis, Tennessee. This policy explains what information this website collects and what we do with it. Questions? Email info@JaxnConsulting.com.
What we collect
When you contact us: your name, email address, company (if you add it) and your message.
When you use the client portal: your account details (name, email and a password you choose) and the support tickets you open, including anything you attach.
When you browse the site: basic, anonymous usage information such as pages visited, how you found us, your general location and device type. This comes from Google Analytics.
How we use it
To reply to you, provide the services you ask for, and handle support tickets.
To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Google Analytics, for the anonymous usage information above.
Our web hosting provider, which stores the site and its data.
Our email provider, which delivers messages sent through the site.
We only share information when needed to run the site, or when the law requires it.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies: login cookies that keep you signed in to the client portal, and Google Analytics cookies that count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The portal won’t keep you signed in without them.
How long we keep it
Messages and support tickets are kept for as long as we work together, plus a reasonable period afterward for records. Google Analytics keeps detailed usage data for 2 months, its default setting.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Just email info@JaxnConsulting.com. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
